They make my favorite burgers ever. The recent service was really good as well. I highly recommend trying if you're into savory burgers with an easy texture.

A staple that knows how to make a burger. Since it was my first visit, I had to go with the Original Big Juicy and a side of fries. When someone thinks about enjoying a good, quality burger, this is what they mean. Quality ingredients with perfect ratio, and just the right amount of grease to soak into the bun. Eating here just feels like San Antonio. Definitely not somewhere I can only visit once!

Casual dining at it's best. Order "it your way" at the counter as you watch the staff create other patrons masterpieces. Pick up your food and prepare to dig in. I love the swiss and mushrrom burger with crunchy skinny onion rings. My husband roates his choices, but always adds french fries- he loves his Longhorn fries. Sit at a table or on a bench, family style. There are multiple locations around the city - I have enjoyed every one that we have been to!

We went here today. Great food and service. They really don't know how to do onion rings extra crispy, but that's ok. I had the bacon cheeseburger, 1/2 onion rings 1/2 tator tots. My friend had their fried chicken salad, and it was huge! Love their ranch, too. $18.00 for mine, but the salad was 11.

If you are ever craving a fried fish sandwich I highly recommend you satisfy your crave at Longhorn Cafe. This was possibly the best fish sandwich I've had in town. Super delicious, super crispy yet super moist fish on the inside, perfect amount of tartar sauce.. with a little bit of lettuce and tomato. .. This picture does no justice for the size of this sandwich. The service here is always great and the restaurant is always clean.

Gentrification is in every direction in San Antonio, but Longhorn Cafe still gives me that nostalgic vibe that I long for in every comfort food establishment. They're primarily a burger joint and the kind that comes with zero pretense or caloric restriction. in other words, come for the food coma and bring some good company. The setup is simple: head the counter, order the food, and find a place to sit. There are picnic benches and various group tables scattered across their dining area, along with the kind of decor that makes them family friendly and an ideal place for a casual meal. The staff is usually a lineup of young folks, usually in full hustle mode while making and serving food. While I felt the burgers were a bit dressed up / messy, the actual (angus) burger patty was nicely cooked and full of flavor. The Big Juicy is their signature burger and it lived up to the juicy hype. They also have non-beef alternatives, from turkey to chicken sandwiches and the veggie blackbean. There are also hotdogs and even a frito pie. The chili fries, nachos, and tots all made for gut-bomb worthy sides, though I was most impressed with the fried dill pickles and jalapeƱo poppers. They also have fried chicken and fried fish dinner combos. Couple this with any of their bottled beers or drinks on ice and it's most definitely a meal. They have plenty of local support and I can see the appeal. Whether it's lunch or an impromptu dinner with a penchant for all things fried, Longhorn Cafe is a worthy stop for a cheat day meal.

It's been a minute since I was here last. So let's just jump right in. We had burgers, onion rings and fries for lunch. The Bacon Cheese Burger was the pick of the table. It was great. The fries and onion rings hit just right. Longhorn Cafe never disappoints :-) If you've never been, go grab a burger

Dined in and had some burgers during cold weather. The ambiance is comfy. Parking is very limited. The burgers were good. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Their sweet tea is great!
